Finnal results AWAC 2010

The 2010 Advanced World Aerobatic Championships was a major success for the French! With Baptiste Vignes as Overall Champion and France as team winner, once again they conquered one of the most prestigious air sports competitions. Last year they impressed at Silverstone by taking the World Aerobatics Championships trophie at home.

LiveAirShowTV to Broadcast the 49th Annual National Aviation Hall of Fame Ceremony

LiveAirShowTV announces its 2nd broadcast of the year, and a return to Dayton, OH for the 49th annual National Aviation Hall of Fame Enshrinement ceremony on July 17th.  Often referred to as “Aviation’s Oscar Night”, this event recognizes the true pioneers in aviation history.  Members of the Hall of Fame include: Astronauts Neil Armstrong, Jim Lovell, and John Glenn; air show performers Patty Wagstaff and Sean D. Tucker; and industry legends Walter Beech, and William Piper.

This year’s enshrinement class consists of: Apollo 12 astronaut Alan Bean, inventor Warren Grimes, aviation icon, Reno air racer, and aerial cinematography pioneer Clay Lacy, and Arctic flight expert and founder of Alaska Airlines Noel Wein.

Viper Jet Team to perform at Al Ain Aerobatic Show

The Viper Jet Team, based in the UK will perform at the 2010 Al Ain Aerobatic Show for tausands of people. The Team is formed by Chris Heames, Dan Arlett, Gerald Williams and Mark Petrie. Powered by a Rolls Royce VIPER 535 turbojet engine, the BAC 167 is flown by the Viper Pilots easily. The aircraft it’s manoeuvreable and capable of speeds up to 450 mph !!! The Vipers made a great video for you guys as a demonstration of their skills. Watch below:

LIVE airshows start this weekend. Besides the incredible aerobatic flights and spectacular manouvers you will get the chance to see some exciting airshow displays. We’ll make it easier for you and let you know how the schedule for Saturday 29th will look like.

aerostars_1AEROSTARS – The Aerostars are the largest civilian team in the UK.Complex vertical aerobatics, opposition passes and figures will be flown by 3 and 2 aircraft formations. 

CURTIS P 40 – It was used by the air forces of 28 nations, including those of most Allied powers during World War II. Is an American single-engine, single-seat.p 40 aircraft

GUINOT TEAM – Dazzling over 6 million spectators each year the wingwalkers buzz airshows at low level, their beautiful biplanes carving loops through the sky while daring wingwalkers wave and perform handstands at 150mph!GUINOT

WW2 SET PIECE – WW2 fighters provided a set-piece in the form of an aerobatic tailchase routing from the locally-based Hispano Buchon, Hawker Hurricane and Pearl Harbor veteran P-40B Tomahawk.FIGHT WW2

RED DEVILS – The Parachute Regiment,element of the British Army. It is an elite unit by virtue of its stringent selection process, rigorous training programme and by the rred_devilsequirement of its role to operate with minimal or no support behind enemy lines and against numerically superior forces.

 

 

HAWK – The Hawk’s Rolls Royce Adour engine produces 5,200lbs of thrust and can power the aircraft to a top speed of Mach 1.2.
